Farmer’s Markets provide another great opportunity for social interaction in the community.  Most farmer’s markets operate May-Oct in central Ohio, but several are year-round.  There are also many that operate on weekday evenings instead of Sat. morning.  In Ohio, many accept SNAP benefits as well.  To find out more about using your EBT card to buy fresh, locally grown foods go to https://jfs.ohio.gov/ofam/InfoCustomer.stm .  Here are a few of the farmer’s markets we frequent:

·Franklin Park Conservatory Farmers Market Wed. 3:30-6:30pm, main Conservatory parking lot, just off of East Broad Street

·Upper Arlington Farmers Market Wed 4-7pm, Northwest corner of the Tremont Pool parking lot, 2850 Tremont Road, Upper Arlington, 43221
